About TRC High Performance

Our story

Texas Rowing Center High Performance was founded in August 2021 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, created to help American rowers pursue the World Championships and Olympic Games.

Rooted in Austin’s rowing community on Lady Bird Lake, TRC HP was established with training and funding separate from Texas Rowing Center’s recreational, junior, and masters programs.

Our mission

To give American rowers the coaching, equipment, training opportunities, and financial support they need to pursue success on the international stage.

Donor support is central to that vision: reducing financial barriers so athletes can focus on the sustained work that elite rowing demands.
